There are 25 faculties in the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. 5 Professors, 10 Associate Professors, 10 Lecturers.
There 6 technicians in the Deparment of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. 2 Senior Technicians, 2 Technicians, 2 Junior Technicians.
2. Postgraduate students
PhD candidates and MS candidates who majoir in Anatomy, Histology and Embryology or Neurobiology can study in Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology.
3. Key Subject
Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology was affirmed as one of the Key Subjects in Shandong Province in 1997, one of the Key Subjects in Shandong University in 2002, and one of the National Key Subjects in China in 2007.
4. Research laboratories and equipments
There 4 research laboratories in Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. They are Developmental Neurobiology lab, Neuroanatomy lab, Neural regeneration lab, and Sectional Anatomy lab.
The scientific research equipments include Stereomicroscope, Optical microscope, Electrophoresis system, Automatic microplate reader, Gel imaging system, Ultralower-temperature freezer (-150℃), Ultralower-temperature freezer (-80℃), Refrigerated centrifuge, Biosafety cabinet, Chemiluminescence system (FluorChem E), Ultra-pure water purifier, Ultrasonic cleaner, Electronic analytical balance, Automatic high pressure steam sterilizer, Sterile air hood, Freezing microtome, Freezing centrifuge, Ultralower-temperature freezer, CO2 incubator, and so on.
5. Teaching laboratories and equipments
There are 7 teaching laboratories. Each teaching lab has its own digital human teaching system or multimedia teaching system.
6. Teaching programs
There are 10 subjects for postgraduate students, include Tissue culture of nervus system, Neuroanatomy, Clinical Neuroanatomy, Sectional anatomy, Applied anatomy of the skull and brain, Applied anatomy of the abdomen, Applied anatomy of pelvis and perineum, Applied anatomy of limb and vertebral column, Clinical Embryology, Cell signaling and desease. Systemic anatomy, Regional anatomy, and Sectional anatomy, Histology and Embryology for 8 years’ and 5 years’ undergraduate medical students. Human anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Sectional anatomy, Histology and Embryology for foreign undergraduate medical students.
