The department of physiology and pathophysiology of the basic medical school of shandong university was established in 2016, which was founded by the former department of physiology and pathophysiology of the medical school of shandong university.The department of physiology and pathophysiology comprises the physiology course group and the pathophysiology course group.At present, there are 19 staff members in the department, including 1 excellent young scientist supported by NSFC，2 new century talents from the ministry of education and 2 winners of shandong outstanding youth fund.There are 5 professors (including 5 doctoral supervisors),7 associate professors, 6 lecturers and 1 laboratory technician. The vast majority of young and middle-aged teachers have doctoral degrees and overseas study experience.In addition, five visiting professors from the United States, Japan, Taiwan and other countries and regions are invited.
