There are more than 2000 students in BMS, including more than 1200 undergraduates who major in clinical medicine (from first academic year to third academic year), more than 400 Master and PhD candidates of basic medical sciences, and nearly 300 international students major in MBBS. From 2019, BMS set up Biomedical Sciences (undergraduate major). Based on the national strategic development need, BMS innovates in system, mechanism and personnel training mode, and integrates high-quality resources of biomedical sciences, keeping a foothold in elite training. In the aspect of scientific research training, BMS adopt the mode of "one-to-one tutorial system", focusing on the spirit of scientific research. Meanwhile, BMS also makes students contact with scientific research early and carry out the parallel mode of theoretical knowledge learning and scientific research innovation ability, which leading students transform from "the recipient of knowledge" to "the creator of knowledge". BMS devotes itself to educate inter-disciplinary and creative leading talents with international vision and wide learning.
