The Department of Pathology was founded in 1925 in the medical department of Cheeloo University. In 1952, Cheeloo University Medical College, Shandong Provincial Medical College and East China Bethune Medical College were adjusted and merged into Shandong Medical College. In 1978, master's degree students were enrolled. In 2000, the Department of pathology obtained the right to confer doctor's degree, and then It was approved as a postdoctoral mobile station in 2001, and awarded as a key discipline in Shandong Province in 2007, which provided a strong support for the construction and reform of pathology curriculum. Based on the concept of interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary integration, we carried out the integrated experimental teaching reform, participated in the research project of "integrated experimental teaching curriculum system reform of basic medicine" as the main course, won the national teaching achievement award of higher education in 2005, and was awarded the national experimental teaching demonstration center of Shandong University Medical Basic Experimental Center in 2006, realizing the experimental equipment Sharing increases complementarity and communication among disciplines.
