On September 21, Li Peishan, a young teacher of the Genetics Department, published his research achievement “Lung mesenchymal cells elicit lipid storage in neutrophils that fuel breast cancer lung metastasis” in Nature Immunology.

This article was completed by Li Peishan during his visit to the Jackson Laboratory in the United States. Li Peishan and Ming Lu are the co-first authors of the paper, and Professor Guangwen Ren of Jackson Laboratory is the corresponding author. Li Peishan, a member of Professor Gong Yaoqin's team at the School of Basic Medical Sciences of Shandong University, joined the Guangwen Ren research group to engage in post-doctoral research in July 2017 through the "Postdoctoral International Exchange Program". During this period, he published several papers in Nature Immunology, Nature Communications, Pharmacology &Therapeutics and other journals.
