In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, students had to stay at home and take online courses for last semester from February to June. Since China has controlled the COVID-19 well, students in China come back to campus since 7th September to regain their lectures in classroom. 

After years of MOOC and online courses construction, the university has accumulated plenty of online course resources, which plays a vital role to ensure academic studies. In the first semester of 2020-2021, School of Basic Medical Sciences managed to carry out teaching activities through a combination of online and offline teaching approach. The students go to classroom for in-person courses, meanwhile students including part of international students at home have live video classes actively.
