Recently, the team of Prof. Gao Peng from the Department of Pathology, School of Basic Medicine published a paper titled "Low glucose-induced overexpression of HOXC-AS3 promotes metabolic reprogramming of breast cancer" in Cancer Research, an international classic journal of oncology (District 1, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 5-year IF: 12.84), to reveal a new mechanism of metabolic reprogramming in breast cancer. Zhu Wenjie, a doctoral student at the School of Basic Medicine, is the first author, and Professor Gao Peng is the corresponding author. Shandong University is the first author unit and the only corresponding author unit.
