On the morning of October 11th, the School of Basic Medical Sciences and School of Medicine, Sungkyunkwan University held a cooperation and exchange conference, aiming at enhancing mutual understanding, promoting academic exchanges, and strengthening the cooperation and development of the two sides. Professor Jin-Hyun Ahn, Vice Dean of Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, Professor Jong-Sun Kang, Head of the International Department, and Professor Kyeong-Kyu Kim, Head of Basic Medical Sciences all attended the meeting. Professor Xiao Yu, Vice Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Professor Lifen Gao, Vice Dean of the Department of Immunology, and Associate Professor Xiaojie Wang of the Department of Pharmacology represented our school to attend the conference.

During the meeting, the two sides introduced the history, culture, and discipline construction of their respective schools, as well as the achievements made in academic research, faculty construction, and talent training in related disciplines in recent years. The two sides discussed and reached preliminary intentions on future cooperation, and hoped to carry out exchanges and cooperation in scientific research information exchange, faculty research cooperation, and teacher or student mutual visits in the future.
