On the afternoon of September 4, the School of Basic Medical Sciences and the School of Biomedicine, University of Adelaide held an online meeting to discuss cooperation and exchanges. The conference was co-chaired by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of the BMS and the International Office of the School of Medicine, University of Adelaide. Dr. Philippa Rasmussen, Deputy Director of the International Office of the School of Medicine, University of Adelaide, Professor Corinna Van den Heuvel, Dean of the School of Biomedicine, University of Adelaide, and other 3 people attended the meeting. Relevant teachers of the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, Department of Histology and Embryology, Department of Pharmacology, Department of Pathology, Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology of the School of Basic Medical Sciences participated.
At the meeting, the two sides introduced the research topics, staff, achievements, and other information about the school and related departments, and put forward plans for future cooperation. In the future, the two sides will continue to cooperate in scientific research information exchange and mutual visits and exchanges between teachers and students.

The School of Biomedicine is affiliated with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Adelaide, which has disciplines such as anatomy and pathology, pharmacology, physiology, reproduction and development, and has several laboratories and research groups such as the Bone and Joint Research Osteoimmunology Laboratory, the Translational Neuropathology Laboratory, the Centre for International Forensic Studies, Integrative Human Neurophysiology Laboratory, Mesenchymal Stem Cell Laboratory, Myeloma Research Laboratory, Neurophysiology of Human Movement, Translational Vascular Function Research Collaborative, Visual Physiology and Neurobotics Laboratory. Research focuses on areas such as addiction research, medical science, and reproduction and development.
