Cheeloo College of Medicine of Shandong University (Faculty of Medicine) has a long history and profound cultural heritage, and its origins can be traced back to 1864. So far, more than 45,000 medical talents have been trained, and they have made important contributions to the field of medicine and health. Cheeloo College of Medicine is made up of 6 colleges, including the School of Basic Medical Sciences, the School of Medicine, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the School of Stomatology, the School of Public Health, and the School of Nursing and Rehabilitation. It has 4 affiliated hospitals.
School of Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) is affiliated to Shandong University Cheeloo College of Medicine. There are 12 departments and 7 Research Centers, 188 full-time teachers (76 professors, 75 associate professors), 2,164 full-time students in School of Basic Medical Sciences. In the recent 5 years, the teaching faculty of BMS have undertaking over 200 national scientific research projects and more than 200 provincial-level projects including 9 national key projects, are supported with 172.4 million RMB scientific research funds. More than 900 academic papers were published and over 20 papers were in world-famous academic journals such as Cell, Cell Stem Cell, Nature Genetics, Nature Immunology, Nature Communications, PNAS, Cancer Cell, Journal of Clinical Investigation, The Journal of Experimental Medicine, Gut, and Gastroenterology. The Symposium will be organized by offline and online simultaneously.
7. Participants
Postgraduates and professors, undergraduate students can participate as audience.
8. Content
Participants will deliver academic presentation on basic medical sciences, including anatomy and neurobiology, histology and embryology, physiology and pathophysiology, biochemistry and molecular biology, immunology, pathogenic biology, pathology, pharmacology, genetics, cell biology, medical psychology and ethics. Presentations on clinical medicine are also welcome!
The presentation can be a published article or an introduction to unpublished research progress.

Oral presentation will be limited to 20 minutes (excluding the time for questioning).

Certificates for all participants and outstanding speakers will be issued.
