On March 26, a four-member delegation led by Prof. Antonello Garzoni, President of LUM University visited the School of Basic Medical Sciences and held discussions on collaborative exchanges.

During the talks, both sides introduced their respective institutions and explored potential cooperative initiatives, including faculty exchange programs, scientific research collaboration, student research internships, and summer school projects. Consensus was reached on these areas. Moving forward, the two parties will further refine and implement the agreed-upon plans through detailed negotiations to advance concrete collaboration. Participants in the meeting included Prof. Wang Xiangdong from the School of Basic Medical Sciences, as well as representatives from the university’s International Affairs Office and the School’s International Cooperation and Communication Office.

LUM University founded in 1995 and located in Bari, Italy, comprises several schools, including the School of Medicine and Surgery (MED), School of Financial Management and Technology, School of Law and Business Studies, and School of Engineering. It is a member of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Scholarship Program.
