Recently, Professor Zhao Wei’s team from the School of Basic Medical Sciences has made new progress in the research on antiviral innate immunity. The relevant research findings have been published in Nature Communications (IF: 17.2) and Redox Biology (IF: 13.1) under the titles “Viruses hijack FPN1 to disrupt iron withholding and suppress host defense” and “Endogenous metabolite N-chlorotaurine attenuates antiviral responses by facilitating IRF3 oxidation”, respectively.
