Recently, the team led by Professor Li Jingxin from the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Shandong University, published a research achievement titled “LINC02086, a novel biomarker for early detection of gastric cancer and a target for cancer therapy” in the international journal Cell Death & Differentiation (CAS JCR Category 1, 5-year IF=15.4). The study found that the long non-coding RNA LINC02086 is significantly upregulated in the serum and tissues of patients with early gastric cancer, and its high sensitivity and specificity in the early diagnosis of gastric cancer have been verified through multi-center clinical cohorts. Professors Li Jingxin, Guo Wei, and Wang Hongjuan from the school are the corresponding authors, doctoral candidate Sun Kaiyue is the first author, and Shandong University is the first author and corresponding author unit.
