On January 2, Professor Sun Jinpeng’s team from the School of Basic Medical Sciences/Institute of Advanced Medical Sciences/Key Laboratory of Otorhinolaryngology of the National Health Commission, Shandong University, in collaboration with Professor Yi Fan’s team from the School of Basic Medical Science, Shandong University, and Professor Deng Cheng’s team from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, published an online research paper titled “Evolutionary Study and Structural Basis of Proton Sensing by Mus GPR4 and Xenopus GPR4” in Cell . Wen Xin, a postdoctoral fellow from the Institute of Advanced Medical Sciences, Shandong University; Shang Pan, a postdoctoral fellow from the School of Basic Medical Science, Shandong University; Chen Haidi, a postdoctoral fellow from West China Hospital, Sichuan University; Guo Lulu, a researcher from the Institute of Advanced Medical Sciences, Shandong University; Rong Naikang and Jiang Xiaoyu, doctoral students, and Li Xuan, a master’s student from the School of Basic Medical Science, Shandong University; and Liu Junyan, a doctoral student from Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, are the co-first authors of this paper. Sun Jinpeng, Deng Cheng, Yang Fan, and Zhang Pengju, professors from the School of Basic Medical Science, Shandong University, and Yi Fan are the co-corresponding authors.
