4. Research Interests

a. Gastric cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. My group is interested in understanding the development of gastric cancer through genetic and epigenetic events.

b. As the strongest known risk factor of gastric cancer,Helicobacter pyloripersistently colonizes the human stomach. We are also pursuing studies on interactions betweenH. pyloriand the hosts.
